At J’s BBQ, we’re not just serving food—we’re serving barbecue the way it’s meant to be: straight from the pit to your plate. Founded by Josh and his dad Jason, J’s BBQ is a family-owned barbecue restaurant in Olathe, Kansas, proudly serving the Kansas City area. Built on hard work, early mornings, and a commitment to doing things the right way, every brisket point, rack of ribs, and sausage link is slow-smoked, then served fresh.
We believe Kansas City barbecue should be experienced at its peak. Every brisket, rack of ribs, and sausage link is slow-smoked and served as close to fresh-off-the-pit as possible—no middle step between the smoker and your plate.
We smoke a limited amount of Kansas City-style barbecue each day to protect quality. That means when we sell out, we sell out—and that’s by design. We like to be creative and come up with new items. Always testing new products and ideas We’re constantly refining what we do, menu testing to dialing in our rubs and smoke.
